Japan Water Systems Corporation. (Hereinafter "JWS") recognizes that it is our social responsibility to strive to protect privacy, which was obtained through this company's business activities. Everyone who engages in business with JWS shall make an effort to protect private information based on the following policies.

1. In case we request to provide private information regarding collection and usage of private information, we shall identify the purpose of the collection and use it within the scope of achieving the purpose upon notifying the responsible point of contact at JWS.
2. Disclosure and commitment of privacy information to the third party
Unless by legal request, we shall not disclose or provide private information to a third party without obtaining prior approval from the information provider. Also, in case the private information is to be provided to the consignee, we shall make sure to instruct privacy protection and its obligation to the consignee based on the confidentiality agreement, notification of JWS's information protection policy, and checking of execution situation so that consignee handles privacy information appropriately.
3. Privacy Protection
JWS shall take security measures and properly manage them so that private information is not lost, destroyed, modified, leaked or accessed illegally.
4. Accuracy of privacy
Upon receiving the request to reference, correct, or delete private information, JWS shall contact the concerned party to confirm that the requester is the concerned party and handle the request properly.
5. Legal observation on related privacy information
Officers and all employees shall observe the regulations on private information and its related guideline to handle private information.
6. Regarding continuous improvement
JWS shall provide training to personnel who handles private information and review and improve initiative on privacy protection as necessary.
